Faith Mae Zong, 61, of Macungie, died Sept. 30, 2022, at home. She was the wife of Larry G. Zong Sr. They were married for 15 years. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Earl O. Jr. and Pauline M. (Fegley) Schlegel.

She was an avid gardener and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Sonya Rothermel, of Andreas, Dana Rothermel, of Macungie; son, Michael Pireda, of Douglasville; stepdaughter, Melissa Benware, of Emmaus; stepson, Larry Jr., of Allentown; brothers, Grant Schlegel (Donna), of Macungie, Owen Schlegel, companion Mary, of Tylersport; sister, Donna and her husband, Thomas Ossman, of Pennsburg, Charlotte Schlegel and her husband, Joseph Zajewski, of Macungie; one granddaughter; three step-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Drake Daniel.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:30 p.m. Oct. 7. Family and friends are invited to call 2 p.m. until time of service at the Boyko Funeral Home, 855 Lehigh St., Allentown.
