Arthur H. Frye, 81, died Sept. 23, 2022, at home. He was the husband of Margaret “Peggy” J. Frye for 59 years.

Born in Stoneycreek Township, he was a son of the late John and Ruth (Baughman) Frye.

He was a lineman foreman for PP&L for 42 years before retiring in 2001.

He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

He was a member of Jordan-Martin Lodge 673 F&AM and the Lehigh Consistory, both in Allentown; and the Rajah Temple.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Arthur H. Jr. and wife Kerri; a daughter, Lori A. and husband Rob Wintz; a granddaughter, Becky and husband Lou Geiser; a grandson, C.J. Stackhouse; a great-granddaughter, Gigi; a brother, John Frye; two sisters, Audra Fosbrink and Eileen and husband Barry Baer; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas Frye and Richard Frye; and a sister, Annalea Bingman.

There will be a calling hour 11 a.m.-noon, followed by a memorial service noon, Oct. 11 at the church, 4331 Main St., Whitehall.
