Martha L. Green, 92, of Slatington, died Sept. 23, 2022, at Sacred Heart Senior Living by the Creek, Northampton. She was the wife of the late George R. Green for 72 years.

Born in North Whitehall Township, she was a daughter of the late Harry W. and Mary L. (Troxell) Gogel.

She was a machine operator for Tama Manufacturing Company for more than 33 years before her retirement. She also worked in the alternation department of Hess’s Department Store and Bon-Ton.

She was a member of Slatington Baptist Church.

She attended senior citizen meetings with the Walnutport and Slatington senior citizen groups.

She is survived by two sons, Richard A. and wife Dianne of Catasauqua and Kevin A. and wife Mary Lee of New Castle; a daughter-in-law, Cindy of Carlisle; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Keith A. Green; and a grandson, Kyle J. Green.

Services will be private.
