To the Editor:

I like Wawa. Wawa was my morning coffee stop on my way to work for over 15 years. But, does Allen Township really need a Wawa at Route 329 and Savage Road? There’s a convenience store with gas pumps about 200 yards east and another one about a half-mile west of the proposed site.

The Route 329 corridor traffic is bad now and is expected to get much worse with all the new warehouses being built. And, when Northampton Area School District builds its new campus empire at Seemsville Road and Route 329, traffic will most likely become unmanageable.

This proposal is an all-around bad idea.
