Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

JULY 15

A mental health case in the 100 block of Front Street had police at the scene.

At Front and Pine streets, a disturbance was investigated.

A welfare check was conducted in the 100 block of Second Street.

Charges are pending in a domestic disturbance case that occurred in the 100 block of Front Street.

The theft of cooking oil in the 500 block of Second Street took place.

JULY 16

A suspicious vehicle at Suburban North Family YMCA, 880 Walnut St., was reported.

Amir Barney, 23, of York; Jordan Matos Marte, 24, of Allentown; and Paulino Guerrero Jr., 23, of Whitehall, were cited in the 500 block of St. John Street for criminal trespassing.

At American and Church streets, a dog was found.

Officers assisted Lehigh Valley International Airport police in the unit block of Stonewood Place.

Police responded to domestic disturbances at Silver Manor, 2 Front St.

JULY 17

A traffic violation took place at Fifth Street and Howertown Road. A verbal warning was issued.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police at Buttonwood and Crane streets and a citizen in the 200 block of Bridge Street.

In the 200 block of Front Street, a domestic disturbance occurred.

Police investigated a civil matter at Silver Manor, 2 Front St.

JULY 18

A dispute between a landlord and tenant occurred in the 700 block of Crane Street.

Officers assisted Whitehall police in the 2600 block of MacArthur Road for a reported fight and a citizen in the 100 block of South 13th Street for a hazardous condition.

JULY 19

Police conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of Poplar Street.

A reportable motor vehicle accident took place at Lehigh and Race streets.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1000 block of Fifth Street.

JULY 20

Parking complaints were investigated at Second and Race streets and in the 600 block of Front Street, the latter with the vehicle ticketed.

A reckless driver in the 100 block of Race Street was given a verbal warning.

Police assisted New York Children Services in the 700 block of Front Street, by conducting a welfare check; Pennsylvania State Police, Dunmore barracks, in the unit block of Front Street; and a motorist in the 800 block of Race Street, for an auto breakdown.

A hit and run occurred in the 700 block of Front Street.

In the 400 block of Race Street, a civil matter had police at the scene.

A missing juvenile from the 600 block of Poplar Street was later located, the department said.

JULY 21

A vehicle stop occurred in the 900 block of Lenape Circle.

Officers conducted welfare checks in the 200 block of Howertown Road and the 100 block of Front Street.

An animal complaint in the 300 block of Mulberry Street was forwarded to an animal control officer for follow-up.

JULY 22

Police responded to a report of a missing adult in the 400 block of Front Street.

A theft from a vehicle in the 600 block of Kurtz Street occurred.

Members of the department investigated a fraud case in the unit block of Cambridge Place.

Reports of suspicious males were investigated in the 800 block of Church Street and at or near Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St.

Officers addressed domestic dispute incidents in the 100 block of South 13th Street and the 200 block of Church Street.

Police assisted a citizen at Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St., and North Catasauqua officers in the 800 block of Willow Drive, for an arrest.

Music was turned down when police investigated a noise complaint in the 200 block of High Street.

JULY 23

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police at the borough office, 1066 Fourth St., and in the 1100 block of Second Street and an outside agency in the unit block of Pineapple Street to serve a subpoena.

A bird in a building in the 200 block of Bridge Street was reported.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

Music complaints were addressed in the 900 block of Peach Street; at Fossil’s Last Stand, 429 Race St.; and in the 400 block of Bath Avenue.

In the 400 block of Prospect Street, police responded to a fireworks complaint.

David Harth, 43, of Catasauqua, was arrested for disorderly conduct-unreasonable noise in the 900 block of Peach Street.

JULY 24

A vehicle stop was conducted at Railroad and Union streets.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., harassment by annoyance during a verbal argument was reported.

In the 500 block of St. John Street, a security check was conducted.

Police issued a parking ticket due to a violation in the 200 block of Front Street.

JULY 25

A vehicle was damaged in the 400 block of Milton Street.

An unwanted person at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., was reported.

JULY 26

At Second and Pine streets, a driver was cited for a traffic violation.

Charges are pending in a domestic disturbance case in the unit block of Union Street.

Officers responded to a harassment issue between neighbors at Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St.

A verbal argument, involving a domestic dispute, occurred in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

Police conducted a welfare check at Second and Chestnut streets.

JULY 27

Police assisted a citizen at Front and Pine streets and North Catasauqua officers for a psychological emergency in the 1000 block of Front Street.

A vehicle was ticketed due to a parking violation in the 200 block of Front Street.

Officers responded to a registration plate being lost or stolen in the unit block of West Race Street.

Police conducted a warrant service in the 200 block of Front Street.

At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., a disturbance between a landlord and tenant took place.

A security check was conducted in the 500 block of St. John Street.

Police addressed a noise complaint at Catty Corner Neighborhood Pub and Pie, 301 Mulberry St.

JULY 28

A citation was issued for a traffic violation at Front and Strawberry streets.

The unauthorized use of a motor vehicle took place in the 200 block of Front Street.

Civil matters, at least one involving a dispute regarding property, occurred at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

JULY 29

Traffic violations took place at South 14th and Race streets, with the driver cited, and in the 900 block of Race Street, with the driver cited.

Officers assisted Lehigh Valley International Airport police at the airport, 3311 Airport Road, Hanover Township and a citizen in the unit block of Pineapple Street

Police investigated a report of a reckless driver on a motor bike in the 100 block of Race Street.

A parking complaint in the 200 block of Peach Street was addressed.

JULY 30

In the 400 block of North 14th Street, a motor vehicle accident took place.

A wanted person in the 700 block of Second Street was reported.

In the 300 block of Wood Street, police assisted a citizen during a verbal argument.

A reportable motor vehicle accident at Howertown Road and Mulberry Street occurred.

In the 400 block of Race Street, officers responded to a noise complaint.

JULY 31

Officers investigated a noise complaint in the 300 block of Union Street.

An unwanted patron at Catty Mart, 547 Front St., was reported.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1100 block of Third Street.

A domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Walnut Street had police at the scene.

In the 700 block of Second Street, a vehicle was damaged during a civil matter.

Officers responded to a juvenile problem in the 900 block of Race Street.

AUG. 1

Suspicious activity in the unit block of Covington Place was reported.

A license plate stolen from Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., had police investigating.

John Overdorf, 65, of Catasauqua, was cited for harassment during a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Front Street.

A report of a suspicious person involving a stolen bike in the 200 block of Church Street was investigated.

AUG. 2

Officers assisted Coplay police in the unit block of Front Street for a domestic dispute and North Catasauqua police in the 1000 block of Fifth Street for a domestic dispute, at Crane and Cypress streets for a traffic stop and in the 700 block of Locust Street for a potential burglary in progress.

In the 700 block of Third Street, a parking complaint was addressed.

AUG. 3

A parking complaint in the 200 block of Second Street was addressed.

In the 300 block of Lehigh Street, a welfare check was conducted.

Larry Horning, 42, of Catasauqua, was arrested for simple assault and harassment during a domestic disturbance in the unit block of Cambridge Place.

A vehicle was ticketed due to a parking complaint in the 300 block of Liberty Street.

AUG. 4

Police conducted a welfare check on children in the 200 block of Race Street.

A vehicle was ticketed due to a parking complaint in the 600 block of Front Street.

Officers responded to a disturbance/mental health call in the 100 block of Church Street.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 500 block of Green Street at the same residence twice for a neighbor dispute.

A security check was conducted in the 500 block of St. John Street.

AUG. 5

Stray dogs at Pineapple and School streets were reported to police.

At Fourth and Pine streets, stray dogs were reunited with their owner.

A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 block of Race Street.

AUG. 6

Noise complaints were investigated in the 100 block of Howertown Road and the 100 block of South Front Street, the latter with the resident warned.

At North 14th and Walnut streets, a reckless driver had police in the area.

AUG. 7

A bat in a house was removed in the 500 block of Walnut Street.
