George F. Klingaman

George F. Klingaman, 97, of Vera Cruz, died Aug. 7, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospice. He was the husband of the late Ruby J (Getz) Klingaman. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late George S. and Edna (Fenstermaker) Klingman.

He honorably served his country in the Army during World War II.

He worked as a projectionist for many years, retiring in 1990. He also served as the business agent for the Projection Union.

He was a member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville.

He was a member of the Macungie VFW, Mystic Chain Park/Milford Castle #29 AOK of the MC and Citizens Fire Co. #2, Emmaus.

He is survived by a brother, William C. Klingman, of Emmaus; a sister-in-law, Patricia Klingman, of Emmaus; nephews, Chris, Paul and Gary Klingman. He was predeceased by a son, Dennis D.; a grandson, Zachary D.; brothers, Paul E., Henry D. Klingman.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 11 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
