Paul Stetz

Paul Stetz, 97, of Schnecksville, died on July 29, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

The beloved husband of Helen (Hregician) Stetz, the couple was married 73 years.

Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Harry and Mary (Sokilka) Stetz.

He was a proud U.S. Army veteran who honorably served his country during WWII in the European, African, and Middle Eastern campaigns.

He spent many years working for Pfizer Chemical Company before his retirement.

Before that, he worked at Lehigh Portland Cement Co. for more than 20 years.

He was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton.

He grew up a farmer and continued that passion throughout his life as an avid gardener and plant lover.

He also enjoyed spending hours finding and refinishing antique wood furniture.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by grandson Robert Stetz and wife, Jodie, of Breinigsville; and great-grandchildren Owen and Ellie Stetz.

He was predeceased by his son, Paul R. Stetz, and many brothers and sisters.

A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10 a.m. Aug. 6 at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1343 Newport Ave., Northampton.

There will be a viewing 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Aug. 6 at Brubaker Funeral Home Inc., 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, PA 18037.

Burial will follow the service at the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church at 1343 Newport Ave., Northampton, PA 18067.
