Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

MAY 24

The reported theft of a vehicle in the 1500 block of Newport Avenue was investigated. A legally parked 1987 blue Suzuki Intruder motorcycle with purple flames was stolen, according to the report.

A report of an animal issue - a dog attacking another dog - in the 200 block of East 21st Street was filed with the department.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1600 block of Canal Street and the 2100 block of Siegfried Avenue.

MAY 25

Traffic stops were conducted in the 500 and 600 blocks of Main Street.

Civil matters in the 300 block of East 10th Street and the 300 block of Howertown Road were investigated.

Police assisted a female in the 1600 block of Canal Street.

A disturbance in the 2000 block of Canal Street was addressed.

In the 2300 block of Main Street, a domestic dispute took place.

MAY 26

Traffic stops took place in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue, at Dewey and Lincoln avenues, at West 21st and Center streets and in the 2100 block of Main Street.

Officers assisted a female in the 2000 block of Main Street.

Police responded to a child custody issue in the 100 block of East 16th Street.

A juvenile problem in the 1000 block of Main Street was reported.

MAY 27

Traffic stops were conducted in the 100 and 2000 blocks of Main Street and at Main and East 19th streets.

Officers assisted females in the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue and the unit block of West 21st Street.

A civil matter in the 300 block of Howertown Road was investigated.

In the 300 block of East 10th Street, a domestic dispute took place.

Police responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of Michael Court.

At Barrington Drive and Kingston Court, a report of loud music was addressed.

MAY 28

A domestic dispute occurred in the 100 block of West 14th Street.

Traffic stops were conducted at West 15th and Railroad streets and at West 26th and Main streets.

Officers assisted males in the 100 block of West 14th Street and the 1900 block of Washington Avenue and a female at West 17th Street and Newport Avenue.

A civil matter in the 300 block of Howertown Road was reported.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

In the 1700 block of Line Alley, a report of a juvenile issue was investigated.

Disorderly conduct reports were addressed in the 1500 block of Poplar Street and the 1300 block of Newport Avenue.

Suspicious activity in the 2300 block of Dewey Avenue had police at the scene.

Officers responded to a harassment complaint in the 1300 block of Stewart Street.

A suspected DUI at Station Alley and Main Street was filed with the department.

MAY 29

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers at Main and East First streets.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 2000 block of Laubach Avenue and the 500 block of East Fourth Street.

Loud music in the 1400 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

At Canal and West 14th streets, officers checked the area.

A report of fireworks in the 900 block of Dewey Avenue was investigated.

MAY 30

Civil matters in the 1200 block of Main Street and the 1300 block of Vienna Street were addressed.

Officers investigated a child custody issue in the 1000 block of Main Street.

Police assisted a male in the unit block of East 13th Street.

A neighbor complaint in the 1900 block of Canal Street was reported.
