The Emmaus Historical Society will hold its annual member picnic at the Moser Pavillion at Emmaus Community Park 5:30 p.m. The society will supply the entrees and drinks. Lehigh Carbon Community College will host the 18th annual LCCC Foundation Scholarship Clay Shoot at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays in Coplay. Registrations are open to the public and are now being accepted. All proceeds for this event will benefit students in the college’s workforce programs, advanced manufacturing, CDL, trade and certificate training including students who are active military or veterans. Entry includes 100 rounds of clay shooting, shells for the event, continental breakfast, awards and pig roast lunch. Second St., Emmaus, in partnership with the BARN Community, is conducting Vacation Bible School (VBS) for kids age 3 through fifth grade at Faith Church, 6-8 p.m. Kids will enjoy the fun of games, stories, music and crafts. The Emmaus Garden Club is hosting a self-guided garden tour of seven local gardens 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Lunch 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be included and shopping from several vendors will also be available 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is a cost. Tickets can be purchased at Dan Schantz Greenhouse, Eagle Point Farm Market, Faith Presbyterian Church Emmaus (day of the tour only), Herbein’s Garden Center and Lehigh Valley Home & Garden Center.
