Albright College

Students named to dean’s list

Albright College congratulates the following students who made dean’s list for the fall 2021 semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must earn a GPA of 3.75 or better while taking a minimum of three letter-graded courses during a semester.

Northampton: Cameron Rodgers, a graduate of Northampton Area High School, studied business administration: economics and finance during the fall semester.

Walnutport: Olivia Lorah, a graduate of Northampton Area High School, studied history and secondary education during the fall semester; Sarah Shook, a graduate of Northampton Area High School, studied political science with a minor in public policy and administration during the fall semester.

Wilkes University

Degrees awarded

Wilkes University awarded 277 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees to winter graduates. A commencement ceremony honoring 2021 and 2022 graduates will be held in May 2022. Final plans are dependent on the guidance from national and state health officials. More information can be found at wilkes.edu/commencement.

Alvernia University

Dean’s list is announced

Nearly 700 students were named to Alvernia University’s dean’s list for the fall 2021 semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credits.

Bath: Madalyn Yorke, enrolled in the occupational therapy program

Northampton: Tiffany Alexander, enrolled in the marketing program

Whitehall: Brandon Gawrys, enrolled in the criminal justice program

Peters named to dean’s list

Alyson Peters, of Whitehall, earned at least a 3.5 GPA to be named to the dean’s list for the fall 2021 semester at Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

Paul Smith’s College

McDonald earns dean’s, scholar’s lists

Paul Smith’s College is pleased to announce Alexis McDonald, of Walnutport, has been named to the fall 2021 dean’s list and the fall 2021 Adirondack Scholar’s list.

At Paul Smith’s College, it’s about the experience. As the only four-year institution of higher education located in the Adirondack Park in upstate New York, Paul Smith’s provides real-world, hands-on learning in fields such as business and hospitality, culinary management, forestry, environmental sciences and natural resources. Students graduate

Lehigh Carbon Community College President Ann D. Bieber announced the December 2021 graduates, including those with honors. Students who graduated cum laude earned a GPA of 3.5-3.75. Students who graduated magna cum laude earned a GPA of 3.75-3.95. Students who graduated summa cum laude earned a GPA of 3.95-4.0.
