State police seek help from the public about a shooting incident at Giant Food Stores, Trexlertown

Pennsylvania State Police investigators are asking for help in their investigation of a shooting incident in the parking lot of Giant Food Stores, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, Jan. 28.

A media release outlines the incident as follows:

Investigators from the Fogelsville barracks were called to the store 5:45 p.m. after shots reportedly were fired in the parking lot. Expended aluminum shells were recovered at the scene.

No one was injured and no property was damaged, according to authorities.

“The shooting is suspected to have been targeting specific individuals on scene and not random in nature,” according to the media release.

A silver Nissan sport utility vehicle is suspected to be involved in the incident.
