Moore Elementary School has begun a project to help those in need in Kentucky after the disastrous tornadoes by holding a drive through Jan. 28. The school needs your help - Moore Elementary will be accepting monetary donations or gift cards to Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon, Dollar General, Walgreens and Visa.

The donations will be sent to Hopkins County, Kentucky, which was one of the hardest areas hit. Every donation, no matter what amount, will be greatly appreciated and be put to good use.

The classrooms are having a friendly competition to collect the most donations. Students can earn a classroom movie and popcorn day!

Please consider helping the people of Kentucky.

A few reminders for Northampton Area High School students: If you have no ID, you must still sign in at the office when you are coming into the building. If students come through and don’t scan in, they are being marked absent. Please see a secretary if you don’t have an ID.

Also, if you arrive late and come into the building before class starts, you must report to the auditorium until the bell rings. Do not go to your class or hang out in the halls until your class starts.

Additionally, if you are parking on the streets in Northampton, make sure not to park on the streets where you need parking permits from the borough. It is possible your vehicle will be ticketed if parked there.
