AIDSNET, Bethlehem needs community members & professionals (lawyer, CPA, clergy, physician, etc.) who live in Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton or Schuylkill County to join our board of directors and help oversee our organization’s mission of building healthier communities by planning and funding HIV/AIDS Care and Prevention Services in those six counties. LEHIGH COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY needs volunteers for the cats that are up for adoption at the Bethlehem PetSmart on W Union Blvd. This includes feeding, scooping litter, straightening the cage, and socializing with them. Be a feline friend :) We are looking for AM and PM shifts. The shifts usually are about an hour, but if you have more time to stay and play, that would be fantastic! LEHIGH VALLEY SCORE needs Volunteer Mentors to coach Entrepreneurs at no charge for our local chapter in the nation-wide SCORE organization. NORTHAMPTON CO. HISTORICAL & GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY, Easton needs visitor services representatives to welcome tourists and local guests, provide information about the organization’s programs & services, and provide information and assistance regarding activities and events in the surrounding communities. LUKE’S UNIVERSITY HEALTH NETWORK needs volunteers to assist in our lobbies, inpatient nursing, emergency department or hospice by spending time socializing, providing comfort items, and assist staff with various supportive duties. SHARECARE FAITH IN ACTION, Bethlehem needs many volunteers to help with taking non-Covid-19 clients to their vital appointments. All volunteers will have to attend on-line orientation, provide criminal background check and proof of insurance. KN95 facemasks & sanitizer wipes provided to volunteers. SPECIAL OLYMPICS - Berks, Bethlehem, Carbon, & Lehigh County is looking for Regional and Local Team Leaders to help with coordination of Special Olympics sporting activities ensuring our mission is met and policies/procedures are followed. Head Coaches for swimming, basketball, golf, rhythmic gymnastics, and bocce are needed to help athletes train and compete at their very best. THE GRESS MOUNTAIN RANCH, Orefield needs volunteers to assist with feeding and watering the animals, including pigs, goats, horses, ponies, alpacas, and Stanley Llama.
