Johanna Rose Carlisle, 82, of Whitehall, died Dec. 8, 2021. She was the wife of the late Charles A. Carlisle for 32 years.

Born in Peckville, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Anna (Sedlak) Janowski.

She was for many years a teacher’s aide at Sheraton Elementary School and at the former nursery school of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton.

She was a member of St. John’s UCC, Fullerton.

She is survived by two sons, Scott and his wife Anita of Whitehall and Wayne and his wife Michelle of Virginia; and three grandchildren, Benjamin, Zachary and his wife Heather and Emily.
