Diane M. Silfies, 66, of Northampton, died Dec. 6, 2021, in her home.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Martin F. and Hermina M. (Grossbauer) Augustine.

She was a Northampton High School graduate. She earned a nursing degree from St. Luke’s School of Nursing.

She was a registered nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill, in the cardiac care unit for many years.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Walnutport.

She is survived by two sons, Joel and his wife Amber and Jared; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Greg; a twin sister, Susan Bender and her husband Robert; and a sister, Martina Biechy and her husband Bruce.
