Clarence H. Gross, 97, of Macungie, died in his home Dec. 16, 2021. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Heintzelman) Gross. They were married for over 67 years. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Raymond Russell Gross and Amanda (Schiffert).

He served 27 years in the U.S. Navy during World War II, the Korean War and the Cuban Missile Crisis.

He was employed at Mack Trucks in Allentown for 30 years.

He was a member of Solomon’s UCC, Macungie.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Peggy L. and her husband, Leo Geisler; a son, Terry L.; grandchildren, Clyde S. and Noah S.; a brother, Peter G.; a sister, Shirley L. Bortz. He was predeceased by brothers, Russell H., Raymond R. Jr., Howard and Robert D.; a sister, Mabel Oels.
