Catasauqua police

Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

DEC. 6

During a vehicle stop, a driver and carrier were cited on Pine Street for a traffic ordinance violation.

Police assisted citizens in the 200 block of Front Street for a child custody issue and in the 200 block of Race Street for scam phone calls.

At Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton, police conducted a welfare check.

A juvenile was reported missing at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St. The individual was located.

Police issued a traffic warning at 201 N. 14th St.

A fight took place at Bridge and Front streets.

DEC. 7

A driver was cited on Pine Street for a traffic ordinance violation.

In the 700 block of Second Street, a dispute between a landlord and tenant took place.

Welfare checks were conducted at Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St., and Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1000 block of Front Street, North Catasauqua.

A domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend took place in the 300 block of Bridge Street.

DEC. 8

During a vehicle stop, a driver was cited on Pine Street for a traffic ordinance violation.

In the 600 block of Poplar Street, a vehicle was ticketed due to a parking violation.

Officers assisted Lehigh County sheriffs on North 12th Street for a warrant service.

Criminal mischief - a damaged decoration - in the 100 block of Prospect Street was reported.

A report of suspicious activity in the 100 block of Front Street was addressed.

Vandalism to a residence on Front Street had police at the scene.

Police assisted a citizen at the same residence twice in the 400 block of Walnut Street.

DEC. 9

A parking complaint in the 700 block of Second Street was investigated.

On Second Street, police conducted a vehicle stop for a traffic violation. A written warning was issued.

A vehicle was towed for a traffic violation on Second Street.

A driver was cited on Pine Street for a traffic ordinance violation.

The department conducted a traffic violation investigation at Lehigh and Race streets. David Quinones, 57, of Bethlehem, was found to be also receiving stolen property, according to the report.

DEC. 10

Traffic violations took place at Bridge and Railroad streets, at Second and Church streets and at Front and Bridge streets, the latter with a citation issued.

An investigation is continuing for a harassment by communication report that occurred at Front and Walnut streets.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 200 block of Church Street and Coplay police on Second Street, both in Catasauqua.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a domestic dispute, with no arrests, took place.

A hit and run occurred at Wood Street and Howertown Road.

In the 200 block of Front Street, a parking complaint was investigated.

DEC. 11

A domestic verbal disturbance, with no arrests, was investigated in the 100 block of Front Street.

In the 200 and 600 blocks of Front Street, parking complaints were addressed.

Police assisted a citizen with a report of a domestic issue in the 300 block of Walnut Street.
