Crawford is EPC South MVP

Freedom’s enjoyed a stellar football campaign this season and the Pates got some accolades with the announcement of the EPC South football all-stars recently.

Senior running back Deante Crawford was named the EPC South offensive MVP after rushing for 1,204 yards and 19 touchdowns in the regular season. He was one of 10 Patriots that were named all-stars, six of which were first-team members.

Liberty and Bethlehem Catholic combined for seven all-stars, with the full list below.

Central Catholic’s Lavon Johnson was named the EPC South defensive MVP after registering 73 tackles, eight sacks and three forced fumbles.
