Richard Newhart, 88, of Cooper City, died Nov. 12, 2021, in Lauderdale Lakes. He was the husband of Constance (Keener) Newhart for 65 years.

Born in Hokendauqua, he was a son of the late Dr. Carl and Norma Newhart.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Linda and her husband Frank Bartus Jr. of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Carol and her husband Steve Bartholomew of Girdwood, Alaska; and a granddaughter, Sarah of Girdwood, Alaska.

He was predeceased by a sister, Mona Otello; and three brothers, Vincent, Edgar and Carl.
