James A. Kresley, 75, of South Whitehall Township, died Nov. 9, 2021, with his family by his side, at home.
He and his wife, Judith A. (Bear) Kresley, shared more than 50 years of marriage.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Eva R. (Hein) Kresley.
Before retiring, he was a claims processor at Blue Cross and Blue Shield and previously at Air Products and Bethlehem Steel.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era.
He will be remembered for his love of gardening, especially tending to his roses, Sudoku puzzles and telling jokes and riddles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son David A. Sr. and his wife, Tanya, of Blandon; daughter Jennifer A. and her companion, Keith, of Allentown; sisters Patricia Frankenfield and Judith A.; grandchildren Sirrena McAlvage, David A. Jr., Justin C. and Kassandra Bowlby.
He was predeceased by a brother John S. and sister Edith.
Services will be announced at a later date.
