Nov. 13

Scouting for Food drive 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Upper Milford Township municipal building, 5671 Chestnut St.

Old Zionsville United Church of Christ, 5981 Fountain Road, Old Zionsville, will host its 24th annual bazaar and filled basket auction 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come browse through the crafters and vendors, check out the auction baskets and buy tickets for a chance to win your favorites. And remember to check out the bake sale. Lunch will not be served this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Nov. 15

Free flu vaccines will be offered at the Emmaus Public Library, 11 E. Main St., 5 to 7 p.m. as part of the Fight the Flu campaign by Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center. Flu vaccines are provided by Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Nov. 16

The Kiwanis Club of Emmaus will host a free informal meet and greet at Yergey’s Brewing, 235 Main St., Emmaus. Registration is required by Nov. 14. The event will be an opportunity for those who live or work in the East Penn and Parkland school districts to learn about the club. Attendees are encouraged to bring their thoughts about current and future needs of area youth. Information about joining Kiwanis will be available. Nov. 17

Alburtis Area 55+ seniors will hold their monthly meeting at their winter location, The Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis, beginning noon. Attendees should enter in rear of church. Join the fun social gathering a potluck luncheon followed by bingo. Bus trips are held throughout the year. For more information, call Jack at 610-966-4996.

Nov. 30

Hivel Und Dahl Preservation Society quarterly meeting will be held 7 p.m. at the Upper Milford Township Building. Larry Roeder, editor of Town & Country, will present the program, “Whistle Stops – Stations along the Perkiomen Railroad.” Ride along the rails of the Perkiomen Raillroad from Collegeville, Montgomery County, to Emmaus in Lehigh County and visit the different train stations along the way. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Dec. 3

Friends of the Emmaus Public Library will host its annual holiday book sale 6 to 8 p.m. Items available at the sale will include recent fiction and nonfiction books, holiday cookbooks and craft books, puzzles, music CDs and movie DVDs, Dan Schantz Monthly Madness cards and more. Refreshments will be available. Purchases are cash or check only. Masks are required.

Dec. 4

Old Fashioned Christmas in Emmaus. The event will include live reindeer, kids activities (4-7 p.m.), Cheers Trail (noon to 5 p.m.), visits with Olaf, Anna and Elsa, hayridess, musical performances, a mistletoe kissing booth and photos with Santa.
