Marcia V. Ernst, 81, of Emmaus, died Oct. 27, 2021, in Above and Beyond, Allentown. She was the wife of William J. Ernst. They were married for 61 years. Born in Malden, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin H. Greenlay and the late Ellen L. (Warrell) and Joseph “Bing” Yurkovitz.

She worked as a customer service manager for the former Day-Timer® and later in collections at HVSC until her retirement.

She was very involved with the Alton Park Youth League and actively involved with all of her children’s activities.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Allentown.

She is survived by her husband; children, Cynthia E. and her husband, Paul Oswald, of Emmaus, Deborah, of Emmaus, Jon M. and his wife, Linda T., of Emmaus and Jennifer and her husband, Carl McGuckin, of Allentown; a brother, Donald H. Greenlay, of Oswego, N.Y.; a sister, Joan L. Quittner, of Starksboro,Vt.; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Contributions may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road, Allentown, 18104.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
