Maryann I. Debus, 78, of Alburtis, died Oct. 12, 2021, at the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of the late Richard A. “Reds” Debus. Born in Alburtis, she was the daughter of the late Leroy T. W. and Beatrice J. (Bogert) Lilly.

After graduation from the former Allentown Business School, where she graduated cum laude, she worked in the financial department of Merchants Bank and previously was a floor lady at Royal Mfg., Alburtis.

She was a former auxiliary member of the Rural Sportsmen’s Association and a former member of the Penny Party Group.

She is survived by a son, Terry L. and his wife, Susan, of Alburtis; daughters, Peggy, of Breinigsville and Cindy and her husband, Howard Forman, of San Tan Valley, Ariz.; sisters, Dianne K., wife of the late Rev. Edward Moser, of Alburtis, Carol Lichtenwalner and her companion, Karl Haas, of Schnecksville; grandchildren, Eric and his companion, Amanda Reiber and Tracey; great-grandsons Lukus, Eli and Carter.
