Kay Diane Diehl, 84, of Emmaus, died Oct. 13, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Gerald R. Diehl Sr. They celebrated 66 years of marriage on Oct. 1. Born in Upper Milford Township, she was the daughter of the late Robert Derr and Lorraine (Hoffman) Brensinger and the stepdaughter of the late Stanley Brensinger.
She was an active member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville.
She was a secretary in the psychology department at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital, retiring in 1998.
She was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 1955.
She was a loving mother who was very proud of her family. She loved the beach and would spend time there when she got the opportunity.
She is survived by her husband; sons, Gerald R. and his wife, Judy, Douglas L., Todd R. and his wife, Paulette; a sister, Gayl Ramer; grandchildren, Matthew, Heather, Devan, Brennen; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Ryan, Zachary, Jayla, Reilly. She was predeceased by a grandson, Jacob; a sister, Lee Derr.
