Phyllis P. Malitsch, 89, of Coplay, died Oct. 10, 2021, at Country Meadows of Bethlehem. She was the wife of William “Beansie” E. Malitsch for 68 years.

Born in North Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late William and Alice (Labis) Pudleiner.

She worked at Hess’s warehouse in the clerical department for many years.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, where she sang on the choir, helped make pierogies and volunteered with the church picnic.

She was active with the Whitehall AARP.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, William and his life partner Marsha E. Cullen; a daughter, Mary Alice and her husband Geno Matzo; five grandchildren, Ryan, Holly, Allison, Danielle and Mallory; and three great-grandchildren, Corrine, Summer and Fionna.
