Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will reopen Oct. 14 with fall and winter clothing.

The shop’s business hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Donations of clean clothing in good condition are appreciated.

Proceeds are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

The Catasauqua and North Catasauqua Halloween parade is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 20. The rain date is Oct. 27.

Catty Seniors Plus meets Oct. 27 at the Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St. Doors open noon. The meeting will begin 1 p.m.

Coffee and dessert will be served, and bingo will be played.
