Daniel R. Gross, 70, of Emmaus, died Sept. 30, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Joann L. (Scheidt) Gross. They would have observed 46 years of marriage Oct. 11. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Mildred J. (Lorah) and the late Russell H. Gross.

He was employed at Fuller Company/F.L. Schmidt for over 30 years. He was later employed at Remco for six years, retiring in 2019.

He was a member of St. John’s UCC, Emmaus.

He was an avid sportsman and woodworker.

He is survived by his wife; mother; a daughter, Lisa McAllister (Brian); a son, Brian (Heather); grandchildren, Tayler and Logan McAllister, Amanda and Hailey; a sister, Dale DeLong (Daniel); Joann’s sister, Janet Saunders (Joe). He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Ken Scheidt.

Services will be held 12:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 6 in the funeral home.
