Scenes from the 2021 Allentown Fair

The livestock barns are full of wonderful farm animals for families to experience. Chris Ingham traveled from Florence, N.J., with his siblings to share some fair time. Chris takes a minute to spend a moment with Lilac the cow, along with his Mom, Jessica Carroll.

Very brave audience participant Owen of Breinigsville wears his protective balloon helmet made by Wesley Williams, The One Wheel Wonder, in preparation for the daredevil jump performed in the Agri-Plex Square. Williams, from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has been showcased on both “America's and Britain's Got Talent” shows, “The Gong Show” and holds the world record for riding the tallest unicycle at 22 feet.
Master Craftsman David Kline supports disabled vets through sales of items from Viking artisans around the world, via the Wounded Warrior Project as a frontline runner. One of Kline's specialties is the hand-crafting of walking sticks made from poison oaks and sumacs.
Hoping to shout BINGO, sisters Abigail and Annabelle mark their cards while Aunt Angela Applegate and grandmother Debra Applegate of Catasauqua make sure they don't miss a number.
Local fictional storytelling authors Kathy Fronheiser of Breinigsville and Christopher D. Ochs of Emmaus discuss their books with fairgoers in the Agri-Plex Exhibits building.

The Grandstand Show Venue brought in country music stars for their “Reboot to our Roots” theme. Toby Keith and his band performed for participants all too happy to dust off their cowboy boots and hats for a great time at The Great Allentown Fair.
Country music superstar Carrie Underwood graced the Grandstand stage on a fantastic evening of 70 degree weather with her performance that made her fans feel the moment with her hit songs and several Christian numbers. The show ended with “When He Cheats” preceded by the tours namesake “Cry Pretty” and an emotional “Jesus Take The Wheel” a song she sang for the network ABC “American Idol” competition that she won in 2005.
Uncommon Caricatures artist J. Robb draws the likeness of best friends Emalyn and Ella. The girls from Pine Grove are in the third grade. They decided to wear matching outfits and hair for their fun day at The Great Allentown Fair.
