Harriet K. Galante, 77, of Lower Macungie Township, died Aug. 30, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Vito N. Galante. They celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this year.

They were members of St. Thomas More parish of Allentown and longtime members of Lehigh Country Club.

She was a nature lover, avid gardener, floral business owner and loved to travel. In recent years, she spent part of each year on the Isle of Palms, S.C., with her husband, enjoying their circle of many dear friends, shell collecting and hosting their many guests.

She was most happy in her role as a grandma-extraordinaire, spending substantial time with her two granddaughters. She was beloved by her children and grandchildren whom she blessed with her radiant presence, endless patience and countless adventures.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Ann Marie G. O’Flynn and her husband, Ken Cameron, of Schwenksville and Lisa G. Blackburn; granddaughters, Elisabeth (Libby) and Allison (Allie) Blackburn, of Bryn Mawr; sisters, Kathleen Russell, Lesley and her husband David Cusick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Sept. 3 at St. Thomas More, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown, 18103. Viewings will be held 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 2 at the Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Road, Allentown, 18106.
