Alberta “Dolly” M. Bloss, 88, of Allen Township, died Aug. 17, 2021, at her home. She was the wife of Earl W. Bloss for 71 years.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Albert A. and Emma B. (Welliver) Strausser.

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Earl N. of Port Orange, Fla., and Mark A. of Palmerton; three daughters, Louise S. Hash and Debra A., both of Northampton, and Cynthia L. and her husband Frank Zwetolitz of Coplay; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Michelle J. Bloss.
