Writer seeks help for Upper Milford resident

To the Editor:

Reading the article on Michael Krause’s situation with Upper Milford Township is absolutely heartbreaking. It is clear the township doesn’t support its residents and small business owners.

Instead, the supervisors played into complaints from a resident, with a criminal past and is an regular offender to peace and happiness in the neighborhood. The supervisors now hide behind a solicitor, that with his own financial greed, catapulted a case with the ability to determine what constitutes junk in the township zoning ordinance.

“Official Oppression” is what all of us should fear, as that is exactly what the facts show is being done by Upper Milford Township to Mike Krause.

Regularly inspecting his property, while passing countless zoning violations throughout the township and having a blind eye to the same, items scattered throughout a property, on the way to his address.

Mike Krause was handcuffed and his personal items and vehicles were removed from his property – detention, seizure, mistreatment, lien, infringement of personal property rights, denied and impeded upon the exercise of enjoyment of rights, privilege and power.

Neighbors, friends and the community remain hopeful that someone out there in the township or county will help Mike Krause legally to defend himself and get his life back. He has been financially destroyed intentionally by the township’s supervisors and their solicitor.

Please someone help Mike Krause.
