ARTSQUEST, Bethlehem is excited to get back to festing and Musikfest would not be possible without hundreds of volunteers from throughout the whole community. There is a job for everyone, from beer tapping to keeping the festival grounds clean! Minimum age 16, or 14 with adult supervision. CAY GALGON LIFE HOUSE, Bethlehem is looking for individuals or groups for its Support Staff Task Force. Duties include providing safety and security to the residents and assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the house. Child Abuse, FBI and Criminal Background checks, Mandated Reporter Clearance, and on-site training are required. Various shifts available throughout the week, including weekends and overnights. NATIONAL MUSEUM OF INDUSTRIAL HISTORY, Bethlehem is seeking Gallery Guides who will engage with visitors to provide a welcome/orientation, answer questions and oversee the visitor experience in the indoor and outdoor exhibit spaces. Also, as Docents, volunteers will have the chance to deepen their knowledge of our rich industrial heritage and share it with visitors by leading guided tours of indoor and outdoor exhibit spaces. MUSEUM OF INDIAN CULTURE, Allentown needs volunteers for the Roasting Ears of Corn Festival beginning with set up Aug. 7-8/15; food prep and maintain the food stand Aug. 20-22; parking, tickets, children’s activities, food service, floater, etc. on days of event Aug. 21-22; post festival break-down Aug. 22-24. THE LEHIGH COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY, Allentown is currently looking for volunteers to clean areas in a house where its offices are located in. VOLUNTEER CENTER OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY YOUTH VOLUNTEER COUNCIL is inviting students in the Greater Lehigh Valley entering grades 9-12 to the Youth Council. Meetings occur monthly and offer volunteer opportunities on the weekends and after school year-round.
