Freedom, Becahi aim for playoffs

The Cedar Beach summer league is approaching the final week of the regular season with playoffs slated to get underway later this week. Freedom and Bethlehem Catholic are keeping themselves in the hunt for a playoff berth in the Big School Division, as the Patriots earned a 49-42 win over Pleasant Valley last Thursday.

Bethlehem Catholic dropped a 43-41 nail-biter to Parkland in double overtime.

The Hawks appear to be a dangerous team heading into the postseason if they can hold onto one of the final playoff spots. They play Easton in Tuesday’s regular season finale.

Below are last Thursday’s results and the updated standings heading into this week.
