State police

Burglary

Approximately $4,242 in guns, ammunition, jewelry and a pair of binoculars were removed from a residence in the 4400 block of Reservoir Hill Road, Lower Macungie Township, between June 6 and 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Burglars allegedly forced entry into the residence while the homeowner was away. Among items taken were Minolta binoculars, a gold and emerald ring, silver and turquoise wrist bands, sterling silver bracelets, a cameo pin, rifle shells, 12 gauge shotgun slugs, a 22-caliber handgun, a shotgun, and several rifles.

Simple assault

Travis James Collins, 29, of Boyertown, was charged with alleged simple assault, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct after allegedly threatening to harm another person while at a location on Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 11 a.m. June 11 and 7:34 p.m. June 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI

Jared Alexander Gesicki, 24, of Emmaus, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Harrison Street and Turner Street, Emmaus borough, 11:45 p.m. June 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Robert Daniel Richardson, 41, of Alburtis, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after state troopers observed a disabled vehicle at the intersection of Trexlertown Road and Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:52 p.m. June 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Dillon Joseph Billig, 26, of Orefield, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Main Street in Emmaus borough, 9:24 p.m. June 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Casey Joel Fritsch, 25, of Macungie, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after state troopers responded to a fight at a residence in the 3500 block of Main Road East, Upper Milford Township, 4:31 a.m. May 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Fritsch allegedly attempted to drive from the location.

A 53-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence at Shepherd Hills Golf Club, 1160 S. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:07 a.m. June 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogeslville.

A 23-year-old female, of Alburtis, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Allen Street and Winfield Street, Upper Milford Township, 10:24 p.m. June 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Drug possession

Jacqueline Alena Grube, 52, of Allentown, was placed into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop on East Texas Road and Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:14 a.m. May 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. She allegedly was found to have a small amount of an illegal drug and paraphernalia in her possession.

Accidents

An Allentown motorist allegedly left the scene of an accident along Indian Creek Road, Upper Milford Township, 7 p.m. June 3, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The 30-year-old female was westbound, just west of Kensington Circle, when her vehicle spun and hit a ditch. The motorist allegedly was going too fast for conditions and did not contact police about the accident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

An Emmaus motorist was hurt when her vehicle struck a pole and toppled onto its side in a single-vehicle accident on Vera Cruz Road, Upper Milford Township, 12:06 p.m. June 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The 64-year-old motorist was traveling south near Geho Road when she went off the road and hit a utility pole on the right side of the road. The impact caused the vehicle to roll onto the driver’s side. The motorist was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. The vehicle was towed from the crash scene.

Harassment

A 41-year-old female, of Kutztown, allegedly harassed another person at a location in the 1600 block of Beech Lane, Lower Macungie Township, June 13, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 27-year-old female, of Macungie, was charged with alleged harassment, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief after police were called to a residence in the 3600 block of Clauss Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:03 a.m. June 11 for rocks being thrown at a home, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The female allegedly admitted to throwing rocks, became irate and started yelling, including threats and racial slurs, causing a disturbance in the neighborhood.

Terroristic threats

Threatening text messages demanding $8,000 allegedly were sent to a complainant at a location on Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 5 p.m. June 9, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The texts allegedly threatened the lives of a relative of the recipient and another person. A 43-year-old female and a 46-year-old male allegedly received threatening text messages, emails and phone calls from a male who resides in North Carolina while they were at a location on Sauterne Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 8:30 p.m. June 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The male allegedly told the female he was on his way to Pennsylvania with a few friends who own guns to harm the 46-year-old male.
