Dr. Edward John Paul Ciecko, D.O., 62, of Philadelphia, died July 12, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Edward J. and Anne C. (Plucinsky) Ciecko.

He was a Holy Ghost Prep student. He earned his degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1985.

He had a private medical practice in Northeast Philadelphia for many years.

He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

He volunteered at the Mutter Museum.

He is survived by a brother, Dr. Joseph Ciecko; two sisters, Anne Ciecko with Rahul and Patrice Steck with Joseph; two nieces, Alaina and Alycia; and a special friend, Mary Mulholland.
