Carol A. Peters, 70, of Walnutport, died July 4, 2021, in her home. She was the wife of Larry W. Peters for 45 years.

Born in New Tripoli, she was the daughter of the late Harold J. and Rachel P. (Bennicoff) Billig and a stepdaughter of Joanne L. (Mutchler) Billig.

She was a 1971 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School.

She was a line operator at Kraft Foods, formerly in Fogelsville, for 35 years.

She was a member Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

In addition to her husband and stepmother, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer A. and her husband Jarod Knouss of Slatington; a son, Michael W. and his wife Marybeth Griffaton; a stepdaughter, Brandy E. of Walnutport; seven siblings, Florence L. Pail with John, David D. Billig with Sandy, Diane M. Cichonski with Charlie, Donald W. Billig with Julann, Judith M. Friedman with Tom, Douglas E. Billig with Jane and Sherri L. Confalone with Daniel; a brother-in-law, Clarence Burkhard; six grandchildren, Mason, Drayden, Jarod Jr., Evan, Ava and Avery; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two siblings, Barbara M. Burkhard and Harold G. Billig.
