Donald H. Stoudt, 92, died June 28, 2021. He was the husband of Beverly J. (Moyer) Stoudt for 70 years. He and his wife lived at their home in Emmaus for 62 years before moving to Langhorne with their son. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Raymond and Martha (Klinger) Stoudt.
He served in the U.S. National Guard for eight years following graduation from Allentown High School in 1947. He worked many years as an auto mechanic before working at General Electric, then Black and Decker small appliance plant in Allentown.
He was active with the Cub Scouts and then the Boy Scouts in the 1950s and 1960s going on many trips and activities with them.
He was an accomplished speaker of Pennsylvania Dutch and had his certificate from the Grundsow Lodge.
He and his wife enjoyed camping with their Firesiders RV Camping Club in their later years and snowbirding to Florida in the winter. He also enjoyed his pet dogs and grand-dogs throughout the years.
He was a very kind and generous person known for his special sense of humor. He liked to make people laugh. He freely gave help and support to many friends and family. He was always on call with help and support for his son and daughter-in-law on many occasions.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Donald B. and his wife, Christine; a brother, Raymond C. and his wife, Joan (Zeitner); a sister, Nancy (late husband John) Krauss; many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert R. and infant son, Robert C.
