Bath: Sacred Heart plans 3-day event

Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 210 E. Northampton St., is holding a three-day indoor yard sale and tricky tray basket raffle July 9-11 in the church auditorium. The event hours are 4-9 p.m. July 9 and 10 and 8 a.m.-1 p.m., with a closeout bag sale July 11.

The church will also be holding its annual church picnic 4-9 p.m. July 10 at the church picnic grounds.

In addition to beer, barbecue, clam chowder and food trucks, there will also be bingo and a variety of games for children.

Entertainment provided by the Swing Time Dolls starts 5 p.m. and Still Kick’n begins 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs.

The raffle and tricky tray basket drawings will be 1 p.m. July 11.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, reminds all to turn in your Redner’s receipts. All receipts are totaled and submitted to Redner’s. A check will come to the church and be deposited into the youth group account.

Your Redner’s rewards card must be used to participate in this program.

Reminder: Bath Farmers Market is held 3-6 p.m. every Friday through Sept. 24 at Keystone Park, Route 329 and Green streets. The market welcomes 16 vendors this year.
