Moore Township: Playground program set for Fridays

The Moore Township Playground in the Park program will be offered 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. every Friday until July 30.

The program is free of charge and open to all Northampton Area School District children who have completed kindergarten. Children 13 and over can participate or help as counselors.

The program will be at the pavilion in the Moore Township Recreation Center, off English Road.

Download an application from the township website. Fill it out and bring it along with your child.

Moore Township invites the community to a free movie night 7 p.m. June 25 at Borek Field at the recreational center.

The feature will be “Tom & Jerry: The Movie.”

No outside food or drink is permitted. The snack stand will be open serving popcorn, candy, hot dogs, hamburgers, pretzels, chicken fingers, chicken wings, ice cream and more.
