Northwestern Elementary School’s parent teacher group, Partners in Education, hosted an ice cream party the evening of June 10 at Ontelaunee Park, Lynn Township.

Students and staff, as well as their families, were invited to this last day, schoolwide, celebration to kick off summer break.

Angels on Wheels brought two ice cream trucks and served just short of 500 ice cream cones.

PIE wanted to do something fun to bring people together after this doozy of a year.

The kids played while parents and staff talked and enjoyed the perfect evening complete with beautiful weather.
