Liberty sends off 23 student-athletes

Liberty held a signing ceremony for 23 student-athletes recently, as they announced their college destinations for the next four years. The list featured several Division-I athletes, most notably, Sander Sahaydak, who is heading to Penn State to kick for the football team.

Sahaydak will have one classmate joining him at State College, as baseball pitcher Devin Fletcher will also play for the Nittany Lions. Cross country champions Emily Jobes (University of Pittsburgh) and Cole Frank (Temple) will also be heading to D-I programs.

Graham Phillips will compete at St. Joe’s in track and field, while Elizabeth Flynn is staying local to play volleyball at Lafayette.
