Richard H. Miller

Richard H. Miller, 90, of Emmaus, died June 14, 2021, in Above and Beyond Senior Living. He was the husband of the late Joyce A. (Antrim) Miller, who died in 2012. Born in Fredericksville, he was the son of the late Albert and Florence (Kline) Miller.

He worked as a farmhand until he was 16. Then he worked at Bally Case and Cooler until retiring. Later he worked at Day-Timer® until it closed and he worked at Giant for 20 years, retiring at the age of 90.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus.

He was a member of the Mertztown Rod and Gun Club and the Emmaus Fire Company #1 social quarters.

He is survived by daughters, Deborah Skinner, Donna and her husband, Chuck Rohrbach; grandchildren, William Leitgeb Jr., Gary Leitgeb, Joshua Rohrbach and his wife, Bonnie, Steven Rohrbach and his wife, Laura and Erika Rohrbach; great-grandchildren, Brady, Brynn and Norah Rohrbach; Christine, Joshua, Morgan and Shelby Leitgeb; a great-great-grandson, Caleb Oswald. He was predeceased by siblings, Dorothy, Charlie, Verna, Edna, Wayne, Paul, Gladys, Betty, Robert, Harry, Frederick, Allen and Russell.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. June 18 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
