State Senator Lisa Boscola has announced state funding has been approved for two important transportation projects in the Lehigh Valley; for the South 2nd Street project in Emmaus and the Transportation Infrastructure Improvements as part of the Majestic Airport Center in Hanover Township, Northampton County.

“I’m pleased to announce the approval of these funds to help expedite important projects that will improve the quality of life and help create jobs and economic opportunities throughout the Lehigh Valley,” Boscola said.

The Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) approved the following Lehigh Valley projects:

• Borough of Emmaus South 2nd Street Project: $575,000;

• Majestic Realty for the Transportation Infrastructure – Majestic Airport Center-Lehigh Valley: $1 million.
