PRIMARY ELECTION 2021

Election Day is May 18. Here are the races and candidates voters will see on the ballot.

LEHIGH COUNTY

Executive: Democratic incumbent Phillips M. Armstrong will face Republican Glenn Eckhart. This is a four-year term. Voters will choose one.

Board of commissioners: In District 1, Democrat Luke Savage and Republican Antonio Pineda are vying for a four-year term. Voters will choose one.

NORTHAMPTON COUNTY

Executive: Democratic incumbent Lamont G. McClure is facing Republican challenger Steve Lynch. This is a four-year term. Voters will choose one.

Council: Democrats Lori Vargo Heffner, Tara Zrinski, Ronald R. Heckman, William McGee and Patti Bruno and Republicans Scott J. Hough, Nicole Romanishan, Kristin Lorah Soldridge, John P. Goffredo and Annamarie T. Robertone are seeking at-large seats. The term is four years. Voters will choose five.

CATASAUQUA BOROUGH

Mayor: Democrat Jeremy Constenbader is challenging Republican incumbent Barbara A. Schegel for a four-year term. Voters will choose one.

Council: Three Democrats and one Republican are on the ballot. Democrats Trudy Warner, incumbent Vincent Smith and David Bernini join Republican incumbent Paul Cmil in seeking four-year terms. Voters will choose three.

Tax collector: Republican James Delbertis is the sole candidate for this four-year term.

Constable: There are no candidates on the ballot.

Inspector of election, 3rd District: Democrat Marian E. DeLong and Republican Diane Laubach are seeking four-year terms. Voters will choose two.

HANOVER TOWNSHIP, LEHIGH COUNTY

Council: Democrat Bruce E. Paulus and Republicans Rick Tocci and Joseph Heimbecker are on the ballot for four-year terms. Voters will choose three.

Constable: There are no candidates on the ballot.

Judge of election: Democrat Diane S.S. Backus is the sole candidate seeking this four-year term.

Inspector of election: Democrat Charles Matz Jr. is on the ballot for a four-year term.

CATASAUQUA AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION

Directors: Shawn P. McGinley, Christy Cooper, Dale K. Hein and Jason M. Bashaw are cross-filed for four-year terms on the school board. Voters will choose four.

NORTH CATASAUQUA BOROUGH

Mayor: Democratic incumbent William J. Molchany Jr. is unopposed for another four-year term.

Council: Democrat incumbent John Joseph Yanek, Republican incumbent Peter Paone III and Republicans Michael Macsisak and Daniel R. Snyder are seeking four-year terms. Voters will choose four.

Tax collector: Democrat Donna M. Schifko is the sole candidate on the ballot for this four-year term.

Constable: Republican James Pellechia faces no opposition for this six-year term.

Judge of election, 2nd Ward: Democrat Margaret Druckenmiller is seeking a four-year term.

Inspector of election, 2nd Ward: There are no candidates on the ballot.
