Sheckler Elementary School is hosting a Fun Week May 17-21. Each day will be dedicated to a single grade level at a time for its own special day.

Kindergarten starts May 17 and each grade takes a day until the fourth-grade celebration May 21.

Rain dates are scheduled for the following week in case of inclement weather.

Catasauqua Police Department did a readalong to a “Star Wars”-themed book May 4. The video was shared to Sheckler Elementary’s Facebook page for viewing.

The police department has kept up with short videos for the children of Catasauqua Area School District for the past few months - all shared on the department’s Facebook page.

The district offers curbside meal pickups 9:45-10:15 a.m. Thursdays in front of Sheckler. Five days’ worth of meals will be provided. Please arrive with a clean and cleared trunk.

This service is available for CASD residents age 18 and under.
