Philip Andrew Artin

Philip Andrew Artin, 62, of Orefield, died April 5, 2021, surrounded by his family in St. Luke’s VNA Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township.

Born Jan. 5, 1959, in Syracuse, he was the son of the late William Joseph and Marie Antoinette (Wysokowski) Artin.

He owned and operated the former Phil Artin, LLC Transportation based out of Houston, Texas.

He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, and the Knights of Columbus.

His survivors include children Noell Ehrig (Joshua), Philip Greggory Artin (Katie), and Autumn Danielle Artin (Brendon), all of Orefield, Brianna Louise Artin of China; siblings Kenneth Raymond Artin (Gail) of Florida, Kathryn Augusta Artin Van Why of Pittsburgh; grandchildren Madison Noell Saladino and Jaxson John Artin; sister-in-law Jeannine I. Artin of Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and beloved canine, Bella.

He was predeceased by a brother, William Wallace Artin.

His service will be private, at the convenience of the family.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
