Rosalyn (Schaefer) Lynch, 80, of Macungie, died April 8, 2021. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy S. (Shafton) and Harold E. Schaefer.

She graduated from Liberty High School and earned a teaching degree from Penn State University. After 31 years of teaching fifth grade at Forrestdale School in Rumson, N.J., she taught for another five years in Allentown, retiring in 1998.

She was a member of the Penn State Alumni Association – University Park and St. Anne’s Church, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her cousin, Elaine Dietrich and nephews, Dan and James Schaefer. She was predeceased by a brother, Harold E. Schaefer Jr.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. April 15 at Bethlehem Memorial Park, 1851 Linden St., Bethlehem. Arrangements are under the direction of the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., Bethlehem.
