Robert “Blackie” F. Deutsch Sr., of North Coplay and Coplay, died April 7, 2021. He was the husband of Jacqueline A. (Brown) Deutsch for 54 years.

Born in North Coplay, he was a son of the late Julius and Anna (Yany) Deutsch.

He was in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962.

He worked at Bethlehem Steel and then at Durkee Foods until he retired in 1996.

He is survived by a son, Robert Jr., at home; two daughters, Shawn Correll and her husband Charles of Northampton and Corrina Urbanavage and her husband Joseph of Macungie; and a grandson, Dillon Correll.

He was predeceased by a sister, Deborah Deutsch.
