John Morgan, 72, of Whitehall, died April 5, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Kathleen (Shumack) Morgan for 50 years.

He was a son of the late Ivan C. Sr. and Cecelia (Gaal) Morgan.

He attended Whitehall High School.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He worked for the railroad for many years before his retirement.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sue Morgan Hoffman; a brother, Butch; three sisters; Shirley Kerrigan, Cecelia Hope and Mary Kuhns; two grandchildren, Jacee and Kyle; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Ivan Jr. and William Sr.; and a son-in-law, Timothy A. Hoffman Jr.
