Jerilyn F. “Jerry” (Koch) Buttillo, 78, of Salisbury Township, died April 10, 2021, at the Hospice House of St. Luke’s in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Anthony Buttillo Jr. for 51 years until his death Jan. 13, 2014. Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Pauline (Hoffman) Koch.
She graduated from Liberty High School in 1960.
She was a layout operator for Western Electric, then Lucent and finally Agere, retiring after over 30 years of service.
She was a member of the former Salem Lutheran Church which later merged with Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and was renamed Star of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was a junior choir mother and taught vacation Bible school at Salem.
She enjoyed her card club, going to the casino and having lunch with her friends. She volunteered for Musikfest and ArtsQuest. She was a member of the Salisbury Youth Association and coached softball when her children were younger.
She is survived by a son, Anthony Joseph, of Palmer Township; a daughter, Tina Marie and her husband, Daniel Steckel, of Bethlehem; brothers, Donald Koch and his wife, Susan, of Drums, Paul Koch and his wife, Joan, of Thomasville, Ga. and Ronald Koch and his wife, Joyce, of Emmaus; grandchildren, Anthony, Joshua Steckel, Olivia and Noah; beloved cat, Toby.

A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. April 16 in the Herron Funeral Home, 458 Center St., Bethlehem. Funeral services will be private with entombment in Bethlehem Memorial Park Mausoleum.
